How do I receive and send USDT on Ethereum?

Last updated on 19 Oct, 2026

When your Bancoli account shows USDT on Ethereum, you can receive it into your Smart Wallet and send it from there.

Send USDT only on Ethereum, and only when your account shows that token and network. Sending USDT on another network can delay recovery or lose the funds.

USDT in your Smart Wallet can be included in your Smart USD balance. Smart USD is a combined USD-equivalent view of the eligible USDC, USDi, and USDT in your wallet. It is not a separate fiat USD bank account.

A conversion from USDT into a fiat payout depends on your country, your account eligibility, and whether that funding route is available. If your account does not show the action, it is not available.

Receive USDT on Ethereum

  • Log in to Bancoli and go to Accounts → Web 3 Wallet. If the wallet is not activated, or the app says access is locked, finish the step it shows before you continue.

  • Choose USDT and Ethereum. Do this only if both are shown.

  • Copy the wallet address or display the QR code.

  • Tell the sender to send USDT on Ethereum only.

  • Send a small test amount first. Confirm that it appears in your wallet before you send the rest.

Your Smart Wallet address can receive USDT on Ethereum when the app shows that route. Do not send USDT on Base, Optimism, Arbitrum, Polygon, or any other network. Do not send a token the app does not show for that network.

Ethereum confirmation is usually about 15 minutes. Incoming USDT appears in your Web 3 Wallet transaction history. If your account converts that USDT, the history shows the conversion. A received transfer is not, by itself, a payout to a bank.

Send USDT on Ethereum

  • Go to Accounts → Web 3 Wallet and choose Send.

  • Select the recipient, or add the recipient's wallet address.

  • Choose USDT on Ethereum.

  • Enter the amount. You need enough USDT in the wallet for that send.

  • Check the address and the network. An on-chain transfer cannot be reversed after it is submitted.

  • Approve the transfer with the wallet sign-in and verification code the app asks for.

There is no Bancoli transfer fee to send USDT from your Smart Wallet on Ethereum. Bancoli covers the network fee for that send. Sponsored sends have a limit. If the app says you have reached it, wait and try again.

A submitted USDT transfer is not a completed transfer. Open it in your transaction history to see the status and the fees. See How do I search my transaction history and read a transfer's status and fees?

Converting USDT to a fiat payout

Receiving or holding USDT does not by itself create a fiat payout.

When a conversion or a payout is available for your account, the app shows that option. Use only the option you see. Availability can change with your country, your account status, and the funding route.

If you do not see a conversion or a fiat payout for USDT, contact Bancoli Support with your account handle or email. We can confirm the status. We cannot always share the specific reason a route is unavailable.

This page is about USDT on Ethereum in your Smart Wallet. Receiving or sending USDC, and payouts in another currency, follow different steps.
